SLINGA
[Type design]This is a current project still under construction.
Slinga is a neo-grotesque font with a dash of script. Distinguished by its extra ligatures for expanded vowel pairings, Slinga is compatible with the majority of significant Latin-based languages, with a tall x-height to enhance legibility. This font draws from script influences, such as the unconventional pinched bowl in the “a”, the “g” with a curved loop ascender, and a lowercase “k” that mirrors the flow of cursive writing. Slinga tiptoes the line of playfulness and professionalism.
Slinga is available for FREE for both personal and commercial use.
